I’ve read that yoga makes you happy.

I’ve read that connection makes you happy.

I’ve read that solitude makes you happy.

I’ve read that breathing makes you happy.

I’ve read that enough sleep makes you happy.

I’ve read that waking up early makes you happy.

I’ve read that visualization makes you happy.

I’ve read that just wanting to be happy makes you happy.

I’ve read that traveling makes you happy.

I’ve read that having a home makes you happy.

I’ve read that meditation makes you happy.

I’ve read that gardening makes you happy.

I’ve read that slowing down makes you happy.

I’ve read that getting rid of stuff makes you happy.

I’ve read that

I’ve read that being grateful makes you happy.

I’ve read that MDMA makes you happy (it does, for a while).

I’ve read that pets make you happy.

I’ve read that nature makes you happy.

I’ve read that the latest cutting-edge scientific insights make you happy.

Question: if there are so many things that make us happy, why aren’t we happier?
