It looks like a typical first-person videogame.

A special kind of game where you see the environment from the perspective of the hero.

You use their hands to pick up stuff, shoot guns, or chop up zombies.

You run, climb and swim with their body.

You hear what they hear and see what they see.

Now take a look at your hands, your human hands.

Maybe they hold a phone or rest at a keyboard.

You can turn them around, wave them, use them, squeeze them into a fist, and point one of their fingers.

Next, look down at your chest, your belly, your legs.

Look left, for your left shoulder.

And right, there’s the right one.

Now let me ask you this:

Are you really in a body, like we always assume?

Are you looking from within that human vessel, to the outside?

Or are you looking AT a body that is just in front of you?

Aren’t you looking at a world with a body in it?
