Where’s my ponytail?

It’s getting better, but for many people, spirituality is still a very specific, very vague, and somewhat exotic thing.

It seems to be about meditation and crystals and chanting and long robes and men who are either bald or wear ponytails.

You have to behave in a specific way, look like a specific person (a spiritual person) and talk in a specific way.

But I say: fuck that.

If you can’t really fit spirituality in EVERY aspect of daily human life, from the darkest crap to the most divine experiences, it’s simply not very helpful.

Spirituality is not about behavior or being holy or perfect.

It’s about recognizing who we are when we are not lost in personal thinking.

It’s about falling in love with life.

It’s about being truly enthusiastic and childlike and playful and funny and curious.

It’s extremely joyful, and very practical.

Spirituality is finding the real juice of existence, and taking it with you, wherever you go and whatever you do.

It’s about appreciating all the things that somehow lost their meaning.

It’s about living life in the clearest, brightest way possible.

No matter what shit circus you find yourself in.

So, yeah, I’m a spiritual coach.

Just a really normal one.
